The Water Safety Awareness Program offers 4 in-water safety sessions for parents and guardians of children under five years of age who reside in the Northern Territory. These 4 water sessions are to the valued at $50.

Funded by the NT Government and delivered by Royal Life Saving Society – NT Branch, the program aims to empower families with the knowledge and skills needed to keep young children safe around water.

• This online session – Emergency Care, provides essential awareness of water-related risks and introduces life-saving techniques. Completion of this session is mandatory before families can continue with the rest of the program.
• The remaining four in-water sessions are delivered by AUSTSWIM-accredited Teachers specialising in Infants and Preschool Aquatics, ensuring a high standard of practical instruction.
